Girls' Generation (소녀 시대; So Nyuh Shi Dae, 少女時代; Shōjo jidai, 少女时代; Shàonǚ Shídài) is a South Korean girl group, formed by the company S.M. Entertainment. They made their debut on August 5th, 2007, and have since continued their legacy in the Kpop Industry. The group consists of eight members; Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun.

- Girls' Generation was originally a nine-member group. However, former member, Jessica Jung, left the group in late 2014.
- Their original contract with their label, S.M. Entertainment was for seven years. In August 2014, all nine members had renewed their contracts for another three years.
- Upon debut, the group was known to focus on female groups in the Korean Music Industry.
