Girls Bring the Boys Out!
In 2011, Girls' Generation made their American debut, releasing their album The Boys in the United States. The title track, "The Boys", had three different versions; a Korean Version, a Japanese Version, and the English Version. Coinciding with the album, the Korean and English music videos were released.
To promote the album, the group went to the United States and had performed on both the Late Show with David Letterman, and on Live! With Kelly. They also attended SMTown, (a concert held in America that consist of various artists within S.M. Entertainment), where they performed the English version of "The Boys", as well as many of their other hits. In addition, Soshified held Girls' Generation's first U.S. Fan Meeting on October 24th. The event was definitely a memorable one, for the fans started waiting outside the Best Buy Theater in Times Square, New York hours beforehand, creating a line that surrounded the entire block! With 1,000 fans attending, it was a lifetime opportunity for both the members and their fans. The Boys - English Version Music Video
